Jack Holton

Jack Holton has recently completed a year as a Young Artist on the Global Talent Programme at the National Opera Studio and is a Young Artist with Opera Prelude and the Musicians Company, having previously trained on the Opera Course at Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

 

Recent roles include Henri The Runaway Royal and Guglielmo (cover) Così fan tutte at Opera North, Count Ribbing Un Ballo in Maschera for Chelsea Opera Group; La Poigne Margot la Rouge and Count Anckarström (Young Artist) Un Ballo in Maschera at Opera Holland Park; Master Page Sir John in Love and Don Parmenione L’occasione fa il ladro for BYO; Sky Masterson Guys and Dolls at West Green House Opera; Don Giovanni for Rogue Opera and The Merry Opera Company; The Count The Marriage of Figaro for Hewletts Opera.

 

Other significant performances include Elder Brother The Hogboon with Sir Simon Rattle and the LSO, and the baritone solos in Stravinsky’s Pulcinella with Joshua Weilerstein at Milton Court.

 

In the Summer Jack played the Jailer in Tosca and Fiorello in The Barber of Seville for Opera Holland Park, and will play Julian (alternate) in The Fabulist at Charing Cross Theatre.
